LOVE...

I finally got my stamp and had some time to play. This is one of the four new set that Our Daily Bread Designs release this month. This is a single stamp of a passage from 1 Corinthians 13. I stamp this passage with versa mark and heat emboss it with gold embossing powders. I also stamp the heart image from Love One Another onto PolyShrink and cut it out to make a charm.
Thanks for looking!

CASEing Beate

Today's Featured Stamper over on Splitcoast is the talented Beate and boy does she has an amazing gallery. It is such an honor to get to case one of her creations. I had such an hard time picking a card to case, I decided to case this CARD. I kept her layout and color. The colors was the first thing that caught my eyes, beside I need to use up some of my old in colors and this was the perfect chance to use some. I did however change the embellishment I used on my card and stamps. I use the newly released stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs Scripture Collection 1. I wanted to make my own background paper, so I use SU It' Beautiful wheel with versa mark and then heat emboss it with clear embossing powder. I thought that it would look great with my Verse.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs -
Scripture Collection I
Paper: White, Purely Pomgranate, River Rock, Groovy Guava and Chocolate Chip
Ink: Black and Versamark
Tools & Accessories: Clear EP, Pearls, SU Punch, Paper Distresser, SU Wheel, Prima Flower, Cuttlebug & Folder, and sewing Machine

Miracle From Above

Today my card is for two challenges. First Splitcoast Stamper Way To Use It Challenge is Frugal Finds. My frugal finds are the cuttlebug baby folder which I got a while back for $1.99 and never use it. Also my flowers are made with SU flower punch which I got for free and my pearls are from the Dollar store.
Clear Dollar Stamp is looking for a Guest Designer for the month of March and they are having a challenge to help them find that right person. You can get all the info Here. Their challenge is to use anything Pearls. Well when I saw this challenge I had to play along, not only do I love their stamps, but you all know how much I love to use PEARLS. I was so excite when I saw that they are looking for a guest designer. Just the other day I was on their website looking to buy some stamps from them, right in the middle of me looking at their stamps my little one needed some attention and so I never finish placing that order. I so have to place that order. Their Charlie stamp line is too darn cute to pass on and so are the others.
My image is from this beautiful set called Miracle From Above from Clear Dollar stamp. I also add some pearl shimmer mist on my flower.

Paper: Watercolor, Close To Cocoa, Pretty In Pink, White, DP
Ink: Black & Pink
Tools & Accessories: Clear EP, Ribbon, Cuttlebug & Folder, Nestabilities, Pearls, Glimmer Mist, Primas Flowers, SU Punches, Sewing Machine.

Happy St Patrick's Day

So I was on Mojo Monday Blog and was look at all the sketches I miss and saw this sketch. I have no idea how I miss this one but I did and when I saw it I had this idea to use it with this stamp from ODBD with green card stock to make a St Patrick's Day card. I must say that this is way out of my zone. I don't usually use gold and when I do, not this much. I started out with the idea to use my gold cord that has been sitting in my stash for a while. Thinking of St Patrick's day make me think of lots of green and for some odd reason bling, (don't know why bling, maybe I have too much bling on my mind or Mardi Gras...lol!!), so I figure I will use my gold cord and embossing powders. I guess I get a little carried away and ended with this card.

I do like the way it turn out, but I think that I over did it with the gold. lol!!

Card Recipe
:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs -
May God Hold You
Paper: Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Wild Wasabi, DP
Ink: Versa Mark, Black.
Tools & Accessories: Gold EP, Ribbon, Cuttlebug & Folder, Nestabilities, Gold Cord, Shrinkable Plastic, Brads, Sewing Machine.

I wanted to get a clean look on this card and I think I did just that.

Now it is your turn to try this sketch!
