Miracle From Above

Today my card is for two challenges. First Splitcoast Stamper Way To Use It Challenge is Frugal Finds. My frugal finds are the cuttlebug baby folder which I got a while back for $1.99 and never use it. Also my flowers are made with SU flower punch which I got for free and my pearls are from the Dollar store.
Clear Dollar Stamp is looking for a Guest Designer for the month of March and they are having a challenge to help them find that right person. You can get all the info Here. Their challenge is to use anything Pearls. Well when I saw this challenge I had to play along, not only do I love their stamps, but you all know how much I love to use PEARLS. I was so excite when I saw that they are looking for a guest designer. Just the other day I was on their website looking to buy some stamps from them, right in the middle of me looking at their stamps my little one needed some attention and so I never finish placing that order. I so have to place that order. Their Charlie stamp line is too darn cute to pass on and so are the others.
My image is from this beautiful set called Miracle From Above from Clear Dollar stamp. I also add some pearl shimmer mist on my flower.

Happy St Patrick's Day

So I was on Mojo Monday Blog and was look at all the sketches I miss and saw this sketch. I have no idea how I miss this one but I did and when I saw it I had this idea to use it with this stamp from ODBD with green card stock to make a St Patrick's Day card. I must say that this is way out of my zone. I don't usually use gold and when I do, not this much. I started out with the idea to use my gold cord that has been sitting in my stash for a while. Thinking of St Patrick's day make me think of lots of green and for some odd reason bling, (don't know why bling, maybe I have too much bling on my mind or Mardi Gras...lol!!), so I figure I will use my gold cord and embossing powders. I guess I get a little carried away and ended with this card.

I do like the way it turn out, but I think that I over did it with the gold. lol!!

I sing for Joy
Here is my take on the sketch. We sometimes forget about our old stamps as we get new one in, like I did with my very first stamp set from ODBD. It is one of my favorite and I had not play with it for a while. This set was sitting around dying to get ink again, so when I saw this sketch I knew I had to used this stamp set. I am so glad I did. I just love this bird image, there is something about it that make me feel like I wanna sing. Oh but you dont want to hear me sing. LOL!!! I use SU cloud template and sponge to create my sky. I wanted to get a clean look on this card and I think I did just that.

Now it is your turn to try this sketch!
